My name is Gilles de Caevel. I live in Vernon, Normandy, and I have been photographing landscapes for almost twenty years. I grew up watching my grandfather, Pierre de Caevel — a painter whose sensitivity to landscapes continues to inspire each of my images. After studying art at ERSEP, where I discovered photography, then film at ESRA, I retained one simple thing from those years: an obsession with the perfect light and the frame that tells a story. On a daily basis, I photograph weddings and real estate.

But the landscape, it never left me.
This shop brings together that work—the work I do for myself, and which I'm now offering you the chance to bring into your own home.
My grandfather painted what I photograph today: the light that changes everything, the fleeting moment that will never return, a horizon we thought we knew that reveals itself differently. Each print in this shop is an extension of that gaze—an image I waited for, composed, and selected. And which you can now hang in your home.
